Vice President, Training and Organizational Effectiveness

Becky Meggesin was named vice president, Training and Organizational Effectiveness for AGL Resources (NYSE: GAS) in December 2011. In this role, she oversees development and delivery of corporate training and organizational development programs.
Prior to this appointment, Ms. Meggesin was vice president, Human Resources for Nicor Gas. During her nearly 30 years with Nicor Gas, she served in a variety of roles across the business, including accounting, credit, meter reading and human resources. Additionally she served as a loaned executive to the Chicago United Way.
Ms. Meggesin serves on the board of advisors at the Northern Illinois University College of Business Belief Program and serves as the chairman of the Compensation and Benefits Committee of the American Gas Association. Additionally, she is an active member of Mentor for Menttium, a national women's mentoring association, and the Northern Illinois University College of Business student mentoring program.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources.
Ms. Meggesin lives with her husband in St. Charles, Ill.
