Sequent Energy Management
Scott Maddox joined Sequent Energy Management as vice president of information systems and technology in August 2003. Mr. Maddox is responsible for all aspects of systems and technology used to manage and support Sequent’s gas trading, asset management and gas origination business.
Before joining Sequent, Mr. Maddox had been vice president of trading systems for Duke Energy North America. He spent 15 years with Duke and its predecessor entities in positions of increasing responsibility in information systems and pipeline marketing. Prior to working with Duke Energy, he spent six years in information systems with Apache Corporation.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Houston.
Mr. Maddox has served as secretary/treasurer of the Houston Ear Research Foundation since 1996.
He resides in west Houston with his wife and two children.
